Mexican Ceramic Wine Sets

A beautiful Amate Art hand painted collection of wine serving sets with colors bursting from the center of each pattern. We offer three different styles - Talavera, Vineyard, and Grapes. These ceramics represent a creative tradition handed down generations from the Otomi Indians of Mexico. These female potters & painters are often identified by their gingham aprons (called mandiles), they are worn as a modern expression of cultural identity. Their paintings depict village life in southern Mexico, from the changing seasons to the fiestas they celebrate. Each piece is signed by the artist. Each set consists of: 9 3/4" Plate (for decorative use only) 4" x 3 7/8" Wine Bottle Cooler Cup 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" Cork Holder Tray 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" Bottle Neck Placard (polymer)
